Overview

A Bussers is responsible for anticipating guest needs, and exceeding guest service expectations within our Andretti Grill, all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Anticipates and responds to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
  • Observe, instruct and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
  • Assists with Guest recovery and notifies manager to ensure positive Guest experiences.
  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Follow proper uniform guidelines according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games guidelines.
  • Displays excellent communication skills.
  • Shows eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Delivers food and beverage in a professional manner according to Andretti standards.
  • Assists with stocking product & side work.
  • Maintains an organized work area and proactively cleans and resets tables.
  • Properly disposes of broken glassware.
  • Follows safety and sanitation guidelines in accordance to local health regulations.

Qualifications

Prior guest service experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Desire to smile throughout shift.
  • Ability to carry large trays of food and beverages.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to use a point of sale system and other electronic equipment as needed.
