An Andretti Pastry Lead is responsible for exceeding guest service expectations with the Andretti menu and plate presentation all while providing a fun and exciting atmosphere. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.


  • Communicates clearly and professionally while interacting enthusiastically with Guests and fellow co-workers.
  • Works as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments.
  • Attends all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
  • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
  • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
  • Performs Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
  • Proper uniform according to Andretti Indoor Karting and Games guidelines.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and eagerness to learn new skills.
  • Set up, stock and organize work station throughout the shift
  • Practice proper storeroom and inventory control procedures.
  • Understand the safety practices and correct set up, operation, break down and cleanup of all equipment.
  • Create new pastry options in accordance with the Andretti brand and desired needs.
  • Labels, dates and properly store prepped and cooked foods.
  • Communicates with Chef and Sous Chefs on all pastry needs for dining and event spaces.
  • Follow proper safety and sanitation guidelines according to local and company health regulations.


1+ year prior cooking experience is preferred. A Drug Test and Background Check is required prior to employment. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job.   • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
  • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
  • Desire to smile throughout shift.
  • Proper usage of all kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends.
  • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
  • Ability to produce station menu items in accordance with Andretti standards and ticket time goals.
