  • Overview

    Maintenance Associates are responsible for the upkeep and aesthetics of our facilities, exceeding guest service expectations in keeping the facility neat and clean. All positions are responsible for assisting guests in various areas, in many capacities, and following Andretti Indoor Karting and Games high standards of quality Guest satisfaction.


    • Respond to Guests in a friendly and positive manner with a sense of urgency.
    • Repair, fix and maintain mechanical equipment and machines.
    • Painting, plumbing, flooring, electrical, heating and air repair.
    • Maintain grounds and parking lot including garden, mowing lawn, triming edging and collecting trash.
    • Perform general cleanup of all areas of the building- dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sweeping etc.
    • Remove garbage daily from around the entire facility.
    • Handle emergency clean ups as directed.
    • Proper usage of cleaning chemicals, safety attire and tools.
    • Complete inspections of all back of house and front of house areas with Maintenance Manager.
    • Observe, instructs and monitor Guests for safety and guideline adherence.
    • Work as a team player.
    • Attend all required department and company meetings and training sessions. 
    • Maintain a clean work area in compliance with Andretti Indoor Karting & Games policies and procedures.
    • Knowledgeable of facility emergency procedures.
    • Perform Opening, Running and Closing department duties as assigned.
    • Follow proper uniform guidelines per Andretti Indoor Karting and Games.
    • Display excellent communication skills.
    • Show eagerness to learn new skills and trades.


    1 year prior maintenance and technical experience is preferred. The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an Andretti Associate to successfully perform the essential functions of their job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

    • Performs functions which require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 75lbs.
    • Walk or stand for long periods of time.
    • Will be subject to working at heights of 40 feet or higher.
    • Work days, nights, holidays and weekends as needed.
    • The environment includes bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds.
    • Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets.
    • Maintain safety standards always.
    • Pleasant, upbeat and sociable personality.
    • Experienced in operating a variety of equipment including lawn mowers, small hand tools, ladders etc.
